Now this is a story all about how the beer game got flipped turned upside down and I’d like to take a minute, just sit right there, I’ll tell you how we brewed this Fresh Hop in a town called Couve-air! On the West Coast born and raised in the brew house is where we spend most of our days. Mashing out, brewing, dry hopping all cool… and all drinking some pints after our brew, when a couple of guys who where up to no good, started drinking Budweiser in our neighborhood. We got in one little fight and big beer got scared, and we said “Get out of this town Budweiser you ain’t welcome in the Couve-air.”

This Belgian-style Saison was brewed in collaboration with Flat Tack Farms. They brought us 200lbs of beautiful organic rainbow carrots that we roasted and added to the mash. They also brought unfiltered Blackberry Honey and 4 different varieties of organic basil: Lemon basil, Lime basil, Blue Spice basil, and regular Large Leaf Basil that we added at the end of the boil for some amazing aromas and fruity tastes. This Belgian-style bursts with different and exciting layers of complexity for a truly unique harvest style saison.
